I have a 2000 4.3 S10 with the 4L60. Im looking to swap in the 0411 PCM and would also like to add in a tow/haul button, does anyone know if it is doable? If so, does anyone know which pin it would be?
I have the full pin out diagram, it is in excel.

Pin 56 in the RED connector will give you 'valet' mode.
Not sure if that'll do what you want.

No. that just controls Valet mode and Timing for Nitrous. He needs to know which pin uses Tow/Haul "Performance" mode.

Yes, read the Custom OS tutorial, that will give you the info you need regarding N2O.

I know, I've been waiting for Paul to release it in the(Beta) BBR controllers...My s-10 has just been sitting there taking up space...:D
I got rear-ended in my 08 Silverado by a freaking 80,000lb Semi-Truck w/Trailer at a red light,:cussing:
Scared the "F&%#ing CRAP OUT OF ME", the good thing was I saw him coming thru my rear-view mirror and I mashed the Gas Pedal right before he hit me!!!
So my truck is in the shop and I gotta drive my S-10 this week...:)

Well you guys can all rest assurd, I wont be driving a Civic anytime soon. Its too far totaled to be fixed for less than 5k so not worth it as a cheap DD.
Anyone have a beatup Cavalier, G5/6, Cobalt they wanna sell me for like $1500? ha

i looked in this, and on the two switches section it says either perormance or manual.... what is ither manual? ik it probably explains itself, but just to be clear, it would be me acually phisicaly shifting it from 1-2, then 2-3, then 3-4?
Thanks guys.

Didn't some of the blazers (Maybe it was the bravada) have a button on the center console for towing?

The manual mode switch was for starting in second gear...
The 2nd shift lever position in some earlier 4L60E's allowed shifting 1->2... so the manual mode switch locked it in 2nd gear.
The newer 4L60E's will hold 2nd gear when the shift lever is in 2nd.

But it already holds second gear?

Then you don't really need the switch.
The applications where the shift lever holds manual 2nd did not come with a manual mode switch.

The 2001 Envoy had a tow/haul switch.
"Tow/haul mode enables the operator to achieve enhanced shift performance when towing or hauling a load. When tow/haul mode is selected, the tow/haul switch input signal to the body control module (BCM) is momentarily toggled to zero volts. This signals the powertrain control module (PCM) to extend the length of time between upshifts and increase transmission line pressure. Cycling the tow/haul switch again disables tow/haul mode and returns the transmission to a normal shift pattern."
On the 411 PCM, you can enable Performance mode with D0409 as well. You won't have any info in the cluster alerting you though.
