Hi folks,
First post on the forum so hopefully I won't make too much of a tool of myself. Have a 2010 camaro ss with the l99 and auto tranny. Recently had some tuning done to motor and tranny and everything is fine except for one small problem. In stock form the t43 controler rev-matches the downshifts when using the paddles. Unfortunatly since the tune mods I have lost the rev-matching feature. The tranny now downshifts to the next gear without the blip of the throttle. I have looked through both stock and modified programs but cannot see an obvious parameter to reinstate this feature. I would be very grateful if someone could point me in the right direction so I can make this function active again.
Many thanks
Bob
p.s. Glad to be here.

WOW!!! very unusual... here in the land of OZ all the earlier VE commodores want that function but cant have it cause it is a OS upgrade in the T43....

so dont know how you have lost this function..... have never heard of any OZ guys losing the function after a tune.. will be very interesting to see what the cause of this is....

Did you turn TM off? There are a few other things that put rev matching to sleep. Cant recall them at present. :) Been a long day already.

Yes, the torque management parameters D9401-402 and 403 have been de-activated.

In our experience TM is one of the areas that affects rev matching. Try restoring TM.

TM is related to engine/powertrain inertia matching which ensures that the throttle blip is smooth. Can you imagine rev matching an M6 without using the clutch? :) M6 clutch = A6 TM.

Thanks very much for the info.I will restore TM tomorrow (bed time for me here in the states) give it a run and see if it restores the "blip".
thanks again:thumb_yello:

Or just leave it at a low level too Bob, try 10-15%. Let us know!

Got my blip back:grin: I turned the TM back on only on the partial and closed throttle parameters, left the TM upshift parameter set to "no". The rev-matching function now works perfectly. Many thanks you guy's if it was'nt for you I'd still be:wallbash:
Thanks again
