Did you copy all of config files over to FlashScan or AutoCal?

You can use Scan&Tune->BBL to create a new Options.txt.

Open up EFILive_Explorer(make sure AutoCal or FlashScan are connected) under config. files click on the "HOME" button, and all you do is copy/drag those files over to bottom screen...:D
Sorry about weird screen shot...

Did you follow the V7.5.6 upgrade .pdf? You need to format your V2 completely then use S&T to copy everything over, the options.txt file has changed. Solved my problems in the early beta stages.

I have V2.06.16 (Oct 02, 2009) boot block V2.06.02 (Oct 16, 2008) installed. I also did

Open up EFILive_Explorer(make sure AutoCal or FlashScan are connected) under config. files click on the "HOME" button, and all you do is copy/drag those files over to bottom screen

That worked but when I tried to read the tune I got no options found. I could BBL but not BBR.

Is the actual error you are gettign when trying to do BBR that 'Options.txt' is empty?

There was an error with the first 8.1.2 Build 75 download. Perhaps redownload, format your config filesystem and then recopy all the files to the V2.

That worked for me.

The Options.txt file has changed in format. While it has been designed to be
transparent, if you discover problems opening the Options.txt file and/or
programming it into FlashScan/AutoCal devices, please delete the Options.txt file
and use the EFILive ScanAndTune program to create a new version of the file.
Is that a new option.txt?

Reformat the [Config] space... and take note that the Options.txt has slightly different format/keywords...

If you have an old Options.txt you have to copy the "guts" of it into the new one being careful to keep the new keywords...

I have a diff editor so you can send me your old Options.txt and I can edit it... post it here...

See mine (attached).

Lorenz,

I edited your file, see attached, copy it (overwrite the original)...

Let me know what happens...

Which PCM(s) are you using...?

I am messing with my G8 (E38) and mostly LS1's. I no longer get the empty options but I also couldnt BBR the (E38) either. Im out of town right now in the G8 so I dont have anything else to try it on.

Add this under the Tune Section after LS1_B:

E38|, Y, E38
E40|, Y, E40
E67|, Y, E67
T42|, Y, T42
T43|, Y, T43
