From the pre-release thread i read that we can now read tunes from vehicles? Is that correct?

Yes correct. Download the public beta and update the firmware. Then open ScanAndTune.exe app and goto BlackBox logging option. At the top there is a tab that says F4 tune Settings when you have the black box logging open. It depends on what you have your options.txt file setup as. If not really using your Flashscan V2 other than tune uploading and downloading and not actually setup the options.txt file. You can rename your current options.txt file on the harddrive and then install the new V7.5 and V8 apps. it will create a default options.txt file with the controllers setup and ready to write to the Flashscan v2. What i recommend formatting both the flashscan and the sdcard.
