Had to replace pcm due to physical damage. Purchased one through and auto parts and had a bud with TECH 2 install a stock progam. Was able to read pcm but then when trying to program to car I was prompted with pcm serial number requested. I have the latest software from efilive and also wonder why BCC info has question marks after read if this means anything. Please excuse me as I have only tuned a few vehicles. Any help would be appreciated. Vechicle is a 2002 C5.

That is not a good sign, it's a common enough issue that TechII wipes out a lot of data on reflashes sometimes. Part of that is the information EFILive uses to license each PCM.
Can you post the .tun file that you read back on here?

I dont know how to put it in hear but I can e-mail it somewhere and if someone can put it in hear. Car starts and runs badly due to it being a n/a cammed and compression motor on stock file.

I wonder if the route Ill need to take is purchasing a used pcm and if so what info do I need to give to get a pcm that will will work with efilive. This is considering if this new pcm that was actually preprogrammed from auto parts store but due to having issues with the serial number and vin I then got a tech2 program and now I have a vin but no serial info on pcm. I still dont know if having question marks for the BCC is a problem or not. Hope this makes sense guys. Im hoping its just this pcm from the auto parts.
