Here are the results of my logs for deriving desired idle airflow settings.

My calibrations are set to 800rpm idle and 13* idle spark @ stoich

I tried adjusing the injector timing event and added / subracted to base desired airflow in neutral.

I logged with calibrated MAF only, dynamic fueling / fuel trims disabled (set to400rpm)

I think I came very close to ideal with - 10% of my base desired airflow, - 11% will probably do it.

I'm going to try 750rpm idle as thats what the cam is advertised to be able to do, to lower fuel consumption at idle.

My MAF is still a fraction out fueling slightly rich, I wont slightly lean for emmisions

I'm probably going to go with 3* to 5* advance on my injector timing on the ECT calibration and leave it there, (the difference between ICL of stock and new cam).

Cheers Mate.

Different cam, different heads though mate so YMMV :)

Andy, did you have a problem with cranking? If so what was your solution Mate.

I'm just on with mine now. Idle is OK, but it won't crank smoothly when cold. I'm just trying a couple of things right now.

I also have an issue with it quitting sometimes on decel, not nice with an auto coming up to an intersection. Any ideas?

I havn't had any problems with cranking really, the starter struggles sometimes to turn the engine over when its hot.

Regarding your decel stalling, I solved that when i sorted the idle. When i got the idle correct, i calculated the ratio between the new airflow and the old stock value, I used that ratio to scale all of the values in {B1829}

Did you scale all of the values?

No, just the neutral and park columns. (I'm A4 not M6) and it didn't help.

I have to do the gears as well? i.e the whole table. OOps.
