Well every time I start my truck the rpm's jump around bad some times even die but rarely . And ive been trying to fix it with no luck. Ive tried more timing, spark, start up flash ups i just dont know how to do it so if anyone with tuning experience can help me out that would be great. I put a cam in my truck and got all the other tuning perfect but the start up. It does it cold or hot.

Try adding some airflow to B4343 (2~3 grams per sec) for the coolant temps when it happens...

OK adding some air really helped but i want the tune to settle in before i say it fixed. Ill post a vid of what the start up is like with a little more air.

Well i let the tune settle in and it still does it, Would playing with after start temp enrichment help any.

I found on my cars that when it's lean the RPM's are not stable. Try richening the afterstart at that temp and see if it helps.

Just add 2% to B3632 in the temp area's that has the problem until you feel it's OK.

Also, have you logged your IAC during this problem?

start it recording with the key on but not started, then start it once it's into the recording.

yea i did that but it wont play the start up only once it idles. ill try it agian tomarrow and see. also looking at my wb my start up is very lean, could taking some air out of it help it out any or would that not be the right way.

or use command fuel on cranking to richen that up to see if that will help.

Don't worry about cranking fuel, just change the after start enrichment.....not an air problem I believe it's a fuel problem so just focus on that 1 item for now.
