We have had a lot of hybrid LSx vehicles, Miata's, RX7's, barstools, etc pass thru the shop lately; waiting on the scantool to poll modules (instrument cluster, doorlock, etc.) that are not present gets old when you conclude a scan or check DTCs.

Is there a way to set the scantool to ignore non-existant modules?

Edit->Properties->Advanced->Diagnostic trouble codes: uncheck "Check/Clear DTCs for all modules".

Also:
Edit->Properties->Startup->Startup tasks: uncheck all 4.
Edit->Properies->Logging->Auto-save meta data: uncheck all 5.

If these are checked, then stay away from the subtabs on the OBD-II tab unless you want to pull that info:
Edit->Properties->Display->Onboard information: if any of the 6 are checked.
