Scenario - dmax LB7. trying to license the PCM. truck is stock. using efilive 7.5.5 build 88. bootblock 2.06.02. firmware 2.06.14. i have 4 total vin licenses. 3 are used. 1 avail.
i read the cal from the pcm no problem. go to flash and it says not licensed so i turn truck off, wait for counter, click license button. it says something like "searching for flashscan v2" for less than one second then the whole program disappears (closes). no error message, just gone. tried it multiple times. restarted efilive, restarted laptop, disabled anti-virus and anti-spyware, power cycled the v2, tried it with truck ignition on as well as off.
all same resuilt. never had this problem before. any ideas?
