Any chance efi live supports tuning these ecms as of now... i have one that needs to be tuned asap... any help?

Is it a regular E38? If so then there is a very good chance EFILive supports it, you might have to send them the *.tun file to map it if its a new OS however.

How soon can they go from non supported to ready to tune?

Well, we are all about to fly out to SEMA so forget it for a week or so if it's not supported, but normally about 3 - 4 days.
But, I just looked up one on Ebay Motors, put the VIN in to CAL ID and the OS it runs should be 12635863 which we already have support for as it's also in the 2010 Camaro, so if you get the latest software (http://forum.efilive.com/showthread.php?t=12014) installed you should be set to go.

Thank you for the reply so fast... I too am leaving for sema and am trying to get this beast tuned before I leave...

There ya go, if you read it and the tune tool doesnt throw a big window saying Unsupported Calibration then you're good to go. Sounds like you should be ok!
