Just curious. My car seems to run better without the MAF. What about you guys?

I'm with Dirk. I have been in SD now for awhile and love it.

My car is MUCH more responsive mafless.

Dirk advised me of this long ago. Being the stubborn fool that I am it took me awhile to be convinced. Dirk was right- and I was WRONG!!

( FWIW - Stubborness is an asset sometimes )

Cheers,

I had no choice, mine came from the factory with no MAF.

I am still running my MAF for now. I ran into a problem with very high IATs. I think that my aftercooler isn't working correctly (pump problem or an air lock). Once that is sorted out I will finish tuning my VE table (its close now) and yank the MAF for good.

Dirk convinved me to do away with the MAF, and run my car in Open Loop SD. Things are great now.
