As I understand the vortec 454's have 19lb injectors... What larger injectors are interchangeable? I heard some ford injectors? Which ones can I use that require no new wiring...
Thanks

A little late to your post, but yes bosch-ford motorsports 19# injectors. they make injectors up to 200#+ (custom) if need be. I have some 42# green top bosch injectors on my supercharged MPI 454
if you give bruce at five-o-motorsports in cali a call hes quite knowledgable, he got my setup with these on my rig and they are a direct replacement injector.

The L29 (and L21 and Marine 454) are 19 lb/hr @ 3 bar, but the system runs @ 4 bar. Do not use injectors rated @ 3 bar only, they can lock. I have heard from someone who had LT1 injectors lock on him (open? Closed? he didn't remember).
The LS1 injectors 98-00, are excellent drop in injectors, may be a tad rich in some cases, some not. They are larger, they are 22 IIRC @ 3 bar (25 lb @ 4 bar IIRC). I would tune them myself, some 454's tend to run fat). LS6 and 01-up LS1 injectors are 28 @ 4 bar, so they must be tuned. L67 (3800 SC) are 33 lb @ 3 bar, 36 @ 4 bar and also work but must be tuned. All can be had quite cheap and fit fine.
Follow my 454 thread at http://www.fullsizechevy.com/showthread.php?213662-96-99-454-Vortec-owners/, we have tons of info there, couple errors along the way, very hard to go back that far and fix, so ask questions and don't hesitate to read it all, crazy long thread it became!
Yes, the guys @ five0 are a good bunch. I picked up a set of 19 lb Ford take outs for $159 years ago, they are still in the car running fine. They car was sold ages ago, I know the owner still.
I have brushed 85% DC (very very briefly) with stockers in my 454, so larger isn't a bad idea if you plan on more out of it.
2 rules to a 454 L29 in my book, if the stock injectors are in there, replace them. If the stock fuel pressure regulator is in there, replace it. They are bad. So many are bad from the MTBE fuels back in 90's early 2000's and they failed. And you cannot test on the truck....

98 was larger, then in 99-00 went smaller, then in 01-02 they went larger again to compliment the LS6 intake that all 01-02 310hp (Z-28, Formula, T/A)-325 sae net hp (SS, WS6) LS1 F-bodies received.
1998 LS1 uses 3.617 gram/second or 28.7 lb/hr at 58 psi(4BAR) fuel pressure
1999-00 LS1 uses 3.328 g/sec or 26.4 lb/hr at 58 psi fuel pressure.
2001-2002 LS1 uses 3.617 g/sec or 28.7 lb/hr
All the Vettes in 01-02 uses the larger LS6 injectors which are 3.672 g/sec or 29.1 lb/hr.
This difference in injector size was the reason why dry nitrous kit manufacturers had 150 hp kits for the 98 and 01-02 F-Bodies and only 125 hp kits for the 99-00 cars.
A quote from 3rd Gen.com
"Good job and excellent data. I want to point out that the LS1 Camaros (I have a '99 SS) came with two different flow rates.
"The '98, '01, and '02 LS1 Camaros came with the 28.x lb/hr injectors, while the '99 and '00s came with the 26.x injectors.
"These values are measured at 58psi (4 bars)."
http://www.thirdgen.org/techboard/ltx-lsx/545181-ls1-vs-ls6-injectors.html
And these part number and fuel flow values are quoted from the Painless Wiring site.
LS1/LS6 engines all came equipped with Delphi EV1 injectors.
Different p/n's have different lb/hr rated injectors 12533952, 12482704, 12561462 are rated 28.6lb/hr @ 58psi.
12456154, 12555894 are rated 26.2lb/hr @ 58psi.

These results coincide with my personal research by looking through multiple 97-04 LS1 and LS6 PCM calibrations.
I find it weird that in a stock 96-2000 L29 calibration, the IFR(injector flow rate) is listed as 2.804 gram/second (22.3 lb/hr) while the 1996-2002 smallblock Vortec L31 is listed as 2.912 grams/second (23.1lb/hr)
So it seems that the 01-02 LS1/6 injector was large enough to fuel the LS1's 300-310 rwhp AND the LS6's 350-360 rwhp output.

sounds like it is a time to make a master spreadsheet with all the stock calibration injector flow rates in them and post/host it.
And note which fuel pressure is for each too...I think the tuning community could use it eh?

Was the spreadsheet ever started? I'm in the hunt for replacement injectors, possibly with a small increase in flow.
