The fuel pickup is preventing bigger #'s and complicating the tune. I'm commanding 10 to get 11.5. BEN is not a happy camper. The fuel setup on the GTO is really bad. Much worse than the pre-2005 Monaro. Once I get the pressure stable, I expect some improvement. So far track times are pretty lousy due to big traction problems and a general lack of driving talent. It makes gobs of torque at very low RPM which can be a real challenge for a beginning driver. Slapping on a pair of Mickey Thompson drag radials promptly boiled the clutch. Last run I logged 6000 RPM @ 3 MPH during the burnout! My off season goal is to re do the fuel system and the driveline and take Driver's Ed. The good news is that I saved a ton of money on my car insurance by switching to Geico.
