Knock Sensor

I understand that I can't use LS3 Gen IV knock sensors with my 01 PCM loaded with Custom O/S 5 . Is that correct and I must use my old LS1 knock sensors or is their a work around?

5.7ute (http://forum.efilive.com/member.php?u=1610) was working on an LS3 transplant,
I don't know if he ever figured out the settings for the Knock Sensors
with the LS1 PCM/OS though.

I couldnt get it to work properly so I went back to the ls1 sensors, mounted in the side of the block. From a lot of searching I did it appears that the hardware isnt in the pcm to support a flat response type sensor. Whether this is true or not I dont know for sure but I couldnt get it to work consistently enough to be happy.

PS does anyone want a good deal on Gen IV knock sensor? I have 3 of them new, picked up a spare cause I got them cheap.
