the new transmissions provide engine braking based on how much you
push the brake ie 20% = 1 downshift 50% = 2 downshifts but right now
we can't see those tables.

Are you saying you updated the V7.5 software and noew you can't see some tables...?
We need more specific details.
What was your old version...?
What is your new version...?

That sounds nice. BMW started doing that 10+ years ago.
If it is brake pedal dependant, would guess it only works on '08+ cars with brake pedal position sensors.

I would guess Joe that L31 means that they are yet to be exposed. Along with a plethora of other A6 parameters. :) Maybe in 2010?

DFCO? Change them to get engine braking? Ive played with them a little on my P10, seems to have a good effect on mileage but it was annoying going along the hwy and having it constantly lock and unlock the TCC because DFCO kicked in.

I just took the EFI Live class at EFI University. One of my classmates was the
owner of Aerocharger Turbochargers who owns a G8 (commodore) he says
the more you push the brake the more it downshifts the trans. Justin Gadburry
says those tables are not accessible yet.

Not sure I have the right words to let you down nicely, but this hasn't progressed and probably won't. The T43 is very hard to work with, finding this sort of thing might be a bridge too far.

It's all good. It would be nice tho.
What do you think about the CAX file thing??
