View Full Version : Tow tune throwing s P0401 and P0101?

Both of these are turned off not reporting, is there another place I should be looking? Is it maybe something else causing this? THx for your time

Tables C0901 - C0908 can be set to disallow the MAF test. Set the numbers to allow the widest variance, or to RPM/ECT levels higher than actual running conditions. The EGR code is not likely causing a MIL.

It is tempting to just defeat the diagnostic, but have you asked yourself why it is happening? MAF diagnostics serve an important purpose, and help keep you from blowing things up into little pieces.

I had a customer that had out-of-range errors. His MAF was reading low at all performance levels, so I refused the tuning job until we found the source of this problem.
