I have a 2007 trailblazer ss and I get an error along the lines of "no configuration data" or corrupt data or something of that nature. I've never plugged my flashscan module into this truck until today and it works fine on my other truck. I have flashscan v1.2. From what I understand the 2007 model years should have an e67 so I select that but to no avail. Every pcm I select gives me the same error when I click the test button. I thought possibly my truck has an 06 pcm since it has an 06 trans so I tried e40 but it said i needed flashscan v2.0. Is it possible my pcm is locked or I have an e40 pcm? I tried alt keys and had the same errors. One time it said $10 or $11 error. The dash says efilive and reading and all that. How can I tell what the problem is?

Maybe the reason can be found here : http://www.efilive.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=100&Itemid=82 !
Looks as if V1 does not do E67 PCMs .

If you have an E67 then you need FlashScan V2, exactly as said by Chevy366.

oh.... did not know that haha. The v2 message only came up when selecting e40 pcm. Wow I really wish I had an extra $400 right now...

Yep, have to use a V2 to read/write everything but the Classic fullsize pickups after 06. My V2 works great with my 08 TBSS.
