Build 88

I currently have V1 cable and my current build date is Build 74, everytime I have tried to update to Build 88 nothing happens. Either V1 does not update past build 74 or, more than likely, I am doing something wrong.

Are you using the updater or did you download it manually (http://www.efilive.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=48&Itemid=133)?

I used the instructions on EFILive; start, programs, efilive, 7.5.5, tools, check for new updates

Quite some time ago now we changed the installer behind the EFILive
software, which includes a different update component. The installer we
used prior to this did deliver on the promise of auto updating so we had to
change to another product.

I can't recall now what version the changeover occurred, but if you are getting errors like host not found or something then this will be the issue. We would recommend downloading the Build 88 and installing that anyway, or the Build 99 pre-release.
