Guys, i have been using EFI Live for a while for my Z06 but i jsut upgraded to the V2 for my LMM. upon initial installation and reading the PCM i got a notification before download about a potential corrupt calibration file, but i could continue and still upload a config to the PCM.. so i downloaded the stock tune and modified it for no EGR and DPF delete. I went to upload the file and went through the licescing of the PCM to the Flashscan etc and i get the no calibration file again, clicked ok and started the upload. well the upload didn't take so i went back through all the steps and even downloaded the stock tune again. but now i get "PCM in unknown state" and i can't download or upload to the PCM... I have the data stream from the Flashscan below.. one thing i saw was that the "unregistered interface" not sure about that as i know everything is registered based upon the license i received with the V2... am i missing something simple here?? the good thing is the truck still runs!! any help is greatly appreciated!!

not familiar with LMMs myself but what year is it and what software version are you running? looks like you have firmware 2.6.12 which I think is the latest public release

This part here is of concern:

15:45:24.839: Interface firmware model: lðg4¥zÌ
15:45:24.870: Interface firmware version: 240.24.103
15:45:24.886: Interface firmware date: Jan 01, 2000
15:45:24.901: FlashScan serial number: 00lðg4\½I
15:45:24.917: FlashScan license number: 00lðg4µjI

That data is well and truly messed up. It could be that your FlashScan has an old firmware version, or that you are using an old version of the software and the software and firmware combination that you have is not 100% compatible. It also explains why the software thinks it is not registered.

You can display the actual FlashScan version using the FlashScan keypad/screen by selecting the option: F4 Options->F3 Licensing -> F1 License Details, then scroll down.

What boot block version do you have? What firmware version do you have?

The latest public released versions are
Boot block: V2.06.02
Firmware: V2.06.12
