View Full Version : Is this a Bug with EFILive Scan & Tune?

I didn't see anyone post on this question.

When EFILive Scan & Tune is open, Options, F5 Black Box settings.
When making changes to PID Menu Items, Menu Properties and clicking OK.
The available PID are removed and left with external PID.
Those can't be added!

The only way to get the available PIDs back is to save the change(s) that were made to the PID Menu Items, close Black Box Settings and open Black Box Settings again.

I hope this is a bug  like the way it was in prior releases in Beta testing.

This happened to me today also... I also keep getting an annoying "Index out of Bounds Error"

It is really weird how it only lets you choose external pids when that happens

I had problems dragging PIDs to make a new options.txt
I ended up using my old options.txt

This is with Build 100.

The problem is with both Options.txt files. Old or New using windows Vista 64. I'll try windows XP sometime today and see how that works.

Engine Power Limiting Factor {TRQ_FACT_DMA} [GM.TRQ_FACT_DMA]
Torque limiters Active {TRQLIMACT_DMA} [GM.TRQLIMACT_DMA]

These are in pass through not BBL. I thought Paul was going to add them to this update?

Shouldn't these PID's be in the C:/EFILive/V8/Documents/Pid Descriptions/LBZ_PIDs.txt file from 12/08/09?

EFILive Scan and Tune when selecting F3, Scan Settings and in the PID menu/ selecting the LBZ module.
I don't see those 2 PIDs to select from the available PID list for the LBZ ECM to add to BBL.

If there in there! I don't see them.

Ok, found the problem. The PIDs were defined in the GM global list but I forgot to add them to the defined LBZ/LMM lists. All fixed now, they will be available in version 8.1.2.84
