Are one of your number keys stuck down? Looks like it's 'marking' a point in the log.

when i open a log, it doesnt display all the pids i know it recorded.

Check your software version, and also the firmware if you are using FlashScan V2.

Software should be at least 7.5.5 Build 88
FlashScan V2 firmware should be at least 2.06.12

This was a problem a while back...

Oh. And the PIDs should all show on the F9 Data tab (not necessarily on the graphs/gauges unless you have specifically changed them to show a different PID.

I've seen that before in my logs, but it's been a while, and it didn't happen often.

It might be the old "log full of notes" issue that has been around for quite a while. Try shutting down all other applications and then opening the log file and see what happens. If it works OK, then see if you can fine which application is causing the problem. Things like VNC Viewer and Windows DRP Viewer seem to cause havoc with opening logs. Normal symptoms are...


log full of notes.
missing PID's.
log length shorter than expected.
log data showing random values.
