Is it possible to have the v2 hardware put into a passthrough mode so i can use it to talk to other devices on the obdi port?

not looking to talk to the pcm, in fact it's my dash.

Just wanted to see if it was possible before i looked at buying one of these (http://aldlcable.com/sc/details.asp?item=obd2usb).

The dash programming is done via a vb program that i have decompiled.

No, the FlashScan V2 can only be communicated with by the EFILive software tools. The device uses proprietary communications protocols, so it would not understand generic OBDII commands.

Same deal with FlashScan V1.
Cheers, i ended up ordering the cable from my first post. Will see how that goes. the program im going to use just requires an aldl cable from the looks of it.

Interesting thing i found after decompiling the program is the fact i might be able to rewrite the odometer values and few other things. But not that it's required for that use anyway.
