I believe it's either B3808 or B3803. Anyway, I can't set this lower than 111mph?? I downloaded a stock file and the compare feature said this field was 3mph from the factory. Anyone have an idea why this would be? I think I'm using v7.23 still....never switched over to v7.3 because I'm too lazy and I would want an install cd to do all the work for me.

Anyone? Here's a screen shot to help explain. It's 7.2.2 build 227...

Only thing I can suggest is to download all the new calibration files from http://www.efilive.com/downloads/downloads_os.html and also perhaps to upgrade to the latest 7.3 011 pre-release software from http://www.efilive.com/downloads/downloads_730.html.

Sorry I can't be more help on this one.

Cheers,

Too lazy to download the latest software, but not too lazy to tune??? Does not compute.

It was a "bug" in an early *.cal file. I was "testing" min/max settings and set them to 111 and 222 to track which appeared where. Unfortunately those settings got left in the released software some time ago. It has been fixed.

Download the fixed cal files here:
http://www.efilive.com/downloads/os/EFILive_stock_cal_20051030.zip
And unzip the files into:
\Program Files\EFILive\V7\Calibrations
Overwrite existing files with the same names.

Thanks Paul! I'll see if I can get that to work. How is that going to affect my imperial vs. metric settings?

About the too lazy thing....I'm not the most computer literate sometimes and I'd rather wait for a CD that will upgrade my 7.2.2 to 7.3 with an install wizard. If I did it manually, there's a good chance I might screw something up in my tune and I only have one car to drive. So, I'd rather not take that chance.
