Can I check DTC's on a Pontiac Vibe??

A friend has a 2004 Pontiac Vibe with the CEL on, will efi live check the DTC on this car? Thanks.

It probably will read the DTC's and the ODB2 data (modes 5, 6), try it and see.

As far as PID logging, it may, altho you may have to change the data speed from fast to generic... remember to validate pids first.

When I connect to the car with the Scan tool, which controller should I choose (the drop down menu that has Gen III LS1, Gen IV LS2, LB7 duramax, LB7/LLY Allison, 02-05 4 cylinder, ect.....)?? I'm only familiar with the Duramax, so I have no idea which one I would need for a Vibe. Thanks.
