O.S. 12587603 got the Boost VE table and timing table for boost but was left with AFR commanded by coolant temp.

Could it be that I might have missed an update to a cal file or custom tun file?

Do a search for "B3647" in the tuning navigator. In the description box mine says "not available in this OS". Needless to say, I was a little disappointed at this point in my custom OS install yesterday. Still have tuning to do.

Mine says 7.70, but is it something thats fixed in .71 or was there never a problems and was my issue A-typical?

I don't have the vehicle available to check by reprogramming 7.71....

Just noticed that we have the same OS. Sure would be nice to have that table(see my post).

For the 12587603, you should be using 04073003 CO's.

You won't find B3437 in a stock OS.
Dennis, one would assume you are not using the CO system when you mention the 12587603 OS.

Cheers Scotty.

Ok, to clarify the table is missing from the Custom Operating System 04073003 as it replaces stock OS 12587603. Sorry for the confusion, but the problem is as I described it in Custom OS 04073003. The table is not replaced, and I don't have the vehicle here to test with the latest updates.

I'm using version 7.71 of this same custom OS. B3647 description says "not available in this OS".
Same goes for B3601.

e.g.

Under A0008:

"When using {B3647} "(not available in this operating system)" to define the commanded fuel, this table is used as multiplier based on engine coolant temperature.
A number of 1.00 will add no more fuel based on the engine coolant temp, any number higher than that will add fuel."

Under B4206:

"When disabled, the PCM will always use
- {B3605} Commanded Fuel When in Open Loop or
- {B3647} (not available in this operating system) as the fuel mixture table without any O2 feedback as long as table
- {B4205} Closed Loop Temp Enable is also set to it's maximum value."

Under B3605:

"When the engine is in cold open loop mode, this is the commanded fuel.

See also:
- {B3601} (not available in this operating system)
- {B4205} Closed Loop Temp Enable"

Thanks. Looks like that may take care of my issue of not being able to control commanded AFR. It was stuck at 12.49. Now it coincides with the numbers in B3647.

Thank god for that. Looking at the tune/log it wasn't making a lot of sense!
