OK so I was trying to install a dsp5 switch in my LMM today. Anyways to make a long story short after the install my truck was only running on the base tune. I tried to check and make sure the wire with tab connector was all the way in tab 46. While doing so I broke the tab connector off in the ECM plug. I cant get it out and now my truck throws a check engine light with 4 different codes I did not right down.

How do I get this tab connector out of the ECM plug?

Any advice is much appreciated.

try using the tab from the c-2 connector to push out the broken one

You will have to educate me on what a tab is.

are you talking about the purple lock that you have to remove to insert the ecm pins?

No I guess I used the wrong terminology. I ment the pin. I thought I had the pin all the way down but the switch wasnt switching between tunes so I tried to pull the pin back out and reinstall but it was a locking pin and broke off in slot 46

Use a paperclip, or a clothes pin from the other side. I would recommend using a pin to press the catch down and a paperclip to push at the same time. I used this tactic to remove a pin installed in the wrong hole on my own LBZ.

I was thinking about going in from the other side but I didnt no if I would damage anything. I will give it a try tomorrow. Thanks
