Dashboard gauges changing color

A couple of my dash gauges backgrounds keep turning green. In properties the colors are supposed to be black. One will go back to it's proper color after I check the properties and close the window but when I close the scan tool and open it back they are both green again. I've tried deleting one of the gauges and remaking it but it still does the same thing. Any ideas?

Check the Alarms tab of the gauge properties...

when the gauge turns read or green it means one of the alarm values triggered.

What do the section adjustments for gauges do and how do they work? I tried playing with different adjustments and they didn't seem to do anything.

I figured it out. It's for dial gauges.

The Sections are for "redlines" on a dial gauge scale.

The Alarms are for changing the gauge color when min/max value is exceeded.
