Where to look for a 3 to 4 defueling issue?

While racing I have a delay or lag in the 3 to 4th shift. Where do I look and how do I tackle this issue. This is a lbz with above 500hp tune so I've heard the higher the power it is harder to tune this out. Thank you for any help.

Are you hitting a rev limiter?

Not sure, its very difficult to explain what it's doing. During normal driving it feels like a push forward and jerk back. Then wot its a delay?

I've done a lot of reading and read that you and rob where trying to get above the current rev limiter.

Not sure if my logs would show it??

All the rev limiter tables have been found. A log would definitely show what was going on.
