I tuned my 09 Silverado CC recently and during the TCM tuning I could not find any tables to lower or zero out the shift times to firm the shifts up. i wanna reduce the TM, but at WOT it feels horrible on upshifts with stock shift times and no TM. i have bumped the pressure a little and shiftpoints, just basic stuff, nothing major. If there is not a shift time table, where do I need to go to make these shifts quicker and crisper??

I had the same issue with the 4speed in this thread (http://forum.efilive.com/showthread.php?t=10926)( tun file included )

I was not able to work on shift times, though bumping the pressues did help a little.

Hmmm, interesting. I have the shift times tables in my TBSS T42 file with OS 24239927. It definitely makes a differences, shift times, TM, and the pressure tables make the 4L60E-4L70Es shift like we want them to.

Is there another TCM OS that your car uses that has these tables, you could full flash that OS in.

It looks like his OS is missing some transmission table's.... You could try installing a corvette servo...:D

I thought about a full reflash but I havent done that because im worried Ill ruin the module, I've done several full flashes on 02 and older pcms but none on newer ones. Anyone done any on the newer modules? Is it safe to go from one os to another different one on the T42? If so I have a file from a 2008 Silverado I did that I could use.

Well I tried a T42 full flash with an 08 OS but I guess the operating system I used did not have Stabilitrak and TCS, as my 09 does because the info center said check tcs and stabilitrak as soon as i started it up. Anyone have a T42 OS with Stabilitrak and TCS??

Simon: What is your TCM OS#? Shift Times were added to some OS's in the last update (http://forum.efilive.com/showthread.php?t=13320).

OS: 24243356 OS ID: AH
CAL: 92234817 BCC: YNYS

It's from a VE Omega V6 and while the other parameters work fine, there is no shift calibration.

Currently I'm on V7.5.6 (Build 109)

109 is still the latest build (and what I'm running). I've emailed Ross with the OS#.

Ta, though I just had a thought.... Because I run a work laptop with crappy roaming profiles, I moved a lot of the default directories and edited the registry to point to the new home. I may have missed copying over all the cal files..... I'll have a look.

If it's easier you can just email me (support@efilive.com) the cal and I'll open on my fresh install and see if the tables are there or not?

Replied already. They are in the cals included in the Build 109 release. Must be something to do with the registry and file locations...

Confirmed, desired shift times are in for that OS in the 109 build.
Calz dates should show as 7.12, 29 March, 2010

Yes, I was talking to Andrew about this.

Because I have a roaming profile, I have changed the default registry keys so I can store the cal files away from from my default "home directory". When performing an auto update, the updater checks the registry keys and all is OK, but because the auto updater wasn't detecting the newer files, I downloaded the install files and updated that way. The install method does not check the existing registry keys for some settings and places files under the default users home directory. I then just move them to the location in the registry key. I missed the cal files this time :p and the roaming profile on the laptop decided that the EFILive directory was not really needed and deleted it......

Andrew sent me the cal file though and all is good thanks.
