Is this possible? Does it have to be emailed to me in a certain way? Will my EFILIVE software even open the file to view and save so I can flash the tune into a car??

Has this been done?

Any help or advice is much appreciated!

Thanks!

No, EFILive cannot open and flash HPTuners files and HPTuners cannot open and flash EFILive files.

If you can get the file as a straight *.bin file, I believe you could use EFILive to flash it in (then read it out to get a proper *.tun).

What can you tell me about that Bin file deal??

So if they send it to me as a Bin file I can open it and then use it?

Any experience with this??

If it is a raw bin file, then yes you should be able to open it with the EFILive tunetool...

Not personally, Im not good enough with code to have a reason to use *.bin files. Yet...its always learning process, right?

But I know EFILive will let you flash raw *.bin files into your PCM.

I believe that as long as it is not a hpt custom OS you should be able to read & flash the .bin file. The custom OS messes with the code & cal id so efilive wont be able to recognise it.
