If I buy the E38 stream license which states that it covers the 2010 Camaro, then will it also cover the 2011 Camaro as well? Also, does is cover the 2010 Silverado trucks? I could be wrong but I think they use the E38 as well. Does the stream cover all E38 computers or will it eventually be split up into different models and years?

The E38 stream will do all E38 ECM's. It won't cover the transmission TCM though.

Splitting by models and years sounds like someone else ;) If it has an E38 ECM the E38 Stream will allow you to tune it (car, truck, van whatever). Similarly the LS1B Stream will let you tune any vehicle (tons) which use the LS1 PCM controller.

If the E38 is still used in 2010 and 2010 the Stream is still able to tune those future vehicles...

To add to what ChipsByAl said, EFILive streams are controller specific, not year/model. So if you buy the E38 stream, you can tune unlimited E38 controllers whether they be an 08 Vette, 10 Camaro, 09 Silverado, 11 Camaro, whatever future E38s, etc.

To tune the transmissions though, you either need to use the TCM part of a regular VIN license or buy a TCM stream (T42 stream).

So if I have bought a single license for a 99 LS1 and didn't use the trans license because in that controller the trans is included on the engine side, then I could use up that credit on say a 2010 T42(3) trans controller?

Yes you can.
