The transient table in the "B" group in a stock tune is very low(retarded) with reference to the calculated values in the "excel calculate set to 50%. Is there a reason for this . Do most leave this file alone? If you do it takes few miles of steady speed driving to get the timing to the values in B0926.
What else is happening when it is using the B0927 file?
Thanks for any help.

I think you are asking questions that are a mystery to many of us. I have seen the timing move around under steady cruise conditions, as you describe, and have no idea why that is necessary.

My question, do you use the excel sheet timing values in the transient table and the low alt. table (copy and paste) and is there a logical reason for the stock timing values in the transient table?
