I have in a hurry rebuild my Procharged LS1 Volvo 242 engine because the car is going to a car show. http://www.hocky.se

Engine prior to rebuild:
Stock LS1 from a 1999 Camaro SS
Procharger at 5-6PSI
3 bar MAP
No MAF

Engine after rebuild:
Procharger at ? PSI (maybe 7 if i am lucky)
9.0 in compression
Lunati 550/550 223/223 camshaft
New rings and bearings of cource

The engine is fired and was running good at idle.
I have not time to retune the engine before the car show :(
Anyone have any points on how off the tune is and how much.

Thanks

Post the tune, someone who knows the LS1 PCM better than I can shed some light. With that cam you might experience some idle issues, but Id be more worried about the much lower compression.

Are you going to run it at the car show, or just drive it there? If you're going to run it, Id get your laptop and FlashScan on it to start reworking the tune.

Cool car btw!

I have the tunes on my work computer, maybe I can post a tune tomorrow.

I will not race the car but I had plans driving there and you know how it is with the right leg ;)

I really hope the combination will work, cam, compression and procharged.
I friend had the cam lying and I thought putting the stock cam in would be a shame...

Thanks!
