I having been looking into purchasing a new m.a.f sensor but there are a lot of options out there. I bought one from autozone (which was cheap) and i had hesitation. After doing some researching i found that some m.a.f. sensor garantee against hesitation. I see slp offers one that says it hads up to 10 rear wheel h.p. Is this at all possible??? Or is it actually doing a tune for you?

I think the SLP MAF has a resistor in the harness that skews the frequency output.
You're better off scaling {B5001} IMO.

with this resister, is that where they are supposedly gaining up to 10 h.p.? Are you saying that a slp m.a.f. sensor wouldn't work without a tune?

The resistor would change the MAF Hz the PCM sees,
tricking the PCM with the lower airflow values..
This would lean out AFR by being in a lower section of the MAF table when it should be higher.

I say you'd be better off either using the stock MAF or buying an regular 85mm one off Ebay.
