I have an AEM wideband that has a single 0-5v output wire. But my V2 needs a + and - input so... Do I just hook the negative input from the V2 AD input to the trucks ground?

It won't hurt to run a ground to the AD-
it may not be necessary tho.
The AEM does not have a dedicated analog ground like other WBO2s,
it maybe tied to the power ground internally. :nixweiss:
I know for serial connection you'll need to run a ground for the serial port.

Make sure it is a clean ground and not connected to anything that emits a "low signal" i.e. 0.1 volt ground
Are you getting a voltage reading with just the analog positive connected?

Does your AEM have a serial output... if it does, then this will be better than the analog connection,

The AEM instructions tell you that the blue wire and black are to be used that is how I did mine and works fine. You have to y the black wire and put one to ground (I just used a earth plug) and the other end of the y goes to the plug for the flashscan
