I'm trying to replace the clutch fan with electric fans on a 2008 Chevy 2500.. got the wiring all done, turned the fans MILS to 2 trip emission related in diagnostics, and turned the codes on for high and low speed circuits, set my temps in the fan table... but they still don't work...the funny thing is that i can turn them on using a scanner ( MODIS ) so i know the outputs from the E38 work, but can't figure out why the ECU not turning them on at the set temps or with the A/C pressure.
any ideas.

Standard these tunes run no electrically operated fans - i.e. "zero". PM and drop your email thru and we can probably help you out. :)

Play with the settings in {G0927}, I would first check PWM Electric. Discrete is usually what is used for efans with standalone controllers so the ECM doesnt try and control the fan. Also, I see you have played with table {G0901} which is good, Id take the 49% values and 0 them out so you dont have a relay burn out prematurely.

I guess I should have asked earlier, what kind of efans are you installing? LS1, C6?

Can't find that table G0927 -- what software version are you running.
these fans are from a similar truck but with the 5.3 engine...i guess the 5.3 had electric and 6.0 clutch.

The latest version, 7.5.6 build 111.

Download everything from here, you need both the V7.5.6 and V8.1.2 packages. Follow the update instructions CAREFULLY! 7.5.6 b111 and 8.1.2 b91 software link (http://www.efilive.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=48&Itemid=133)

You will probably need to update your V2 bootblock and firmware as well. Save all the files you need off your V2 using EFILive Explorer. Leaving it open, open EFILive HAPI (pops up by the clock, looks like a mini V2 icon) and click the firmware tab. Press upgrade bootblock FIRST and wait for your V2 to have 2 LEDs flash back and forth with a blank screen. Now press upgrade firmware (make sure it is version 2.06.32) and wait for your V2 to reboot.
