Trying to data log a 06 TBSS with an e40. I have ran into a issue, it seems when I try to data log I get -41 for spark and my fuel trims are -64%. I know the truck isnt that far out using a different system to data log. Any ideas on what would cause this???

EfiLive works fine with my 99 ls1 but when I try to data log the e40 I have issues. Other thing is that the fuel trims are not coming up as valid pids.

What software/hardware versions are you using? Help->About will let you know. Latest are 7.5.6 build 111 and 8.1.2 build 91 with V2 bootblock 2.06.03 and firmware 2.06.32.

All available HERE (http://www.efilive.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=48&Itemid=133).

Have you selected the E40 controller and validated the PIDs? In the Scan tool, go Info->Validate PIDs.

I still have v7.5.5 build 88

I was gonna do the latest download but I havent had a chance. I have used the scan tool on a few TBSS'S here then one day Maro it wouldnt work. I did have my friends efilive cable connected first, then went to mine and that is when my problem started.

I did validate the the pids already once but wont hurt to try again.

Wow, build 88 is from ages ago. I think over a year by now...

After you download this latest update in full, from here on out you can just update your software from the start menu in windows, no need to download the whole 87mb and 17mb files, just run Check for Updates and you'll be set.

Looking at that pic you've uploaded it definitely looks like you need to Validate the PIDs. If that doesnt work let us know.

You say you swapped EFILive cables, that could mess with the registration (but shouldnt). Im thinking it might have to do with different year TBSSs, did you go from an 07-09 SS back to an 06? I ask because only the 06s use the E40, 07-09s have an E67.

The last 3 I did were all 06's, it was just weird right after I swapped cables. I have done a few tunes back to back 06-09's and this is the first time it has happened.

I will try and do an update and see what happens.
