Just thinking ahead here. I am planning out a turbo 6.0l build. I plan on using the stock ECM and EFILive of course. I have been planing on using CO3. So I was playing around with it. But I have question. The Stock B4001 varies with manifold pressure. That makes perfect sense with the OEM pressure being 58psi static. But I am planning on using a Magnafuel pump (http://www.magnafuel.com/products/efi/pumps/MP-4301.htm) and this Regulator (http://www.summitracing.com/parts/MRF-MP-9950-B/).

My question is with the pressure referenced should I make the B4001 static as the regulator will take care of the enrichment?

That is correct, when the FPR is manifold-referenced then the B4001 IFR table is flat "static" like you said...

(manifold-referenced FPR requires a return line back to tank)

Do this:
- with FPR exposed to baro (i.e. reference hose removed) and pump running measure rail pressure,
- calculate IFR for your injectors using measured rail pressure using the spreadsheet,
- populate all cells in B4001 with the MANVAC=0kPa IFR value.

The manifold-referenced FPR adds MAP to the regulated pressure, thereby keeping the pressure difference across an injector constant (i.e. rail pressure on top, MAP below).

It will have a return to the tank. This 6.0l is going in my 66 Nova. So the fuel system is all custom anyway.

6.0L 66 Nova, sounds like a fun project! Are you going to use a LS1 PCM or an E67/E38 and T42?

Good question. I not really sure of the best way to go yet. Open to suggestions.

I found a 2005 6.0l 4l80E combo out of a van local to me with and the electrics.

Is that a good donor or should I look for something else?

That will have a 1MB LS1 PCM, I believe you can get the LS1 COSs for it (but dont quote me, Im not an LS1 expert). It will be ETC as well, so have to install an DBW pedal.

Should be fine, especially with the 80E.
