I picked one up for an L92 being installed in my 00 C5 and I'm just finding out that the later LS3 TB's are different then the earlier LS3/LS2 version.

Can tuning eliminate that difference or am I outta luck and just need to sell?

Did you try it? Did you face any problems?

It may be possible to tune it. It responds differently at idle and has been known to pop throttle position faults. Never gone the whole hog on trying to get past this as it is easier to swap. Even LS3's this came on have challenges when blown.

Yes. I used the adapter to adapt it to an LS1 harness and when I turn the key all I get is Reduced Engine Mode and faults on TP Sensor. Start and it won't hold idle.

Plugged the original LS1 TB and no faults and it runs.

The car's been down for a year so it's been a while since I've touched EFILive. I've got to get in there and remember how things are done. :doh2:

Any suggestions on pids set vs actual to monitor?

It would be great to get these to work since there is a huge cost difference between it and the earlier LS2's.

I just saw a post on another forum stating the HPTuners folks are able to tune it out.

(and it appears HPT has included the ability to adjust the error % on the throttle now) it is also that they require a different calibration for idle/low speed air flow so they idle nicely.
