Hi i am new to this forum, i normally spend time in www.corvetteforum.com, but due to problems getting E85 tune for my 472 cid engine i was directed to this forum.
I have Corvette Z06, 2007 model with 472 cid, 102mm Nick Williams TB, 102 mm filter and MAF.
FAST LSXR 102 mm, 85 lb injectors and a hefty camshaft 255/265 112
We got in contact with Steve at www.oztracktuning.com, and i cant say enough good things about him and his skills. We tuned first on race fuel speed density and then E85 speed density.
Boy what a difference speed density made, we have previous driven cars tuned on MAF, and with a lot less camshaft they did not even come close to this experience. I could put her in 6th in 50 mph, cruising with 1200 rpm and that big cam and she did not buck or surge at all:)
Steve did a hell of a job, i am going to recommend him to all my European and American friends.
with 8 hours time difference, Steve worked some late nights and his remote tuning was impressive to watch.

Thanks Steve, look foreward to do more business with you, and get that last economy cruise tune finished

At first the rates seemed kind of high, but if you use the service as a
educational tool it's not that bad. EFI U wants 5k for the ACP class,
you can buy quite a bit of Steve's time for that kind of money.

That's my take

I too used Steve's services for a boosted E85 SD tune with Great Results. Highly recommended:cucumber: Only took him a couple of hits to dial in my rig with almost 20lbs of boost.

Went to a smaller cam and I'm eagerly awaiting a revised tune from Oztrack.

I also have to do minor adjustments, but thats my mistake not Steve.
We installed a seperate extra fuel pump system with regulator and return line, did not check the fuel pressure setting as was certain in would be 58 psi since i bought it for that purpose.
Turns out FP was 33 psi :doh2:
We turned up fuel pressure and got a second tune from Steve, not as perfect as the one on 33 psi, but again we did not have time before i had to leave for my first shakedown and test of car.
I am convinced Steve will hit the nail once again :cucumber:

with 255/265 112 lobe it drove very nice, cruise 1200 rpm in 6th 50 mph, i could not believe it, sooo happy

Rune,

Measure fuel rail pressure with the regulator's manifold reference hose removed (i.e. regulator exposed to barometric pressure)... the rail pressure should read constant 58 psi.

(and then when finished measuring, remember to reconnect the reference hose back on).

Thanks but we have control now on the fuel pressure and there is no regulator reference hose in play on my setup.
I have the stock Z06 fuel system (intank FP regulator) and then extra external pump, they noth now feed front of rails and on back of rails i go to FP regulator and then return line to tank.

it works perfect now

My VE at the strip with 655 rw hp (dynojet) (its like a G8) does 4.5s in the same increment.
