EFILive Explorer is part of the version 8 software; so you need to have version 8.1.2 Build 94 installed.

Then EFILive Explorer can be found in your Start menu (Programs\EFILive\V8\EFILive Explorer).

Hi Restless, welcome to the forum...

Connect V2 to PS, start Scan&Tune (S&T) program, goto F5:Black Box Settings,
and press the Program button (see the Program button at the bottom of attached pic).

Doing that will get Options.txt copied to your V2.

it started to load at 84% and then said
ERROR$:0194 WRITE FAILURE ??

ERROR$:0194 WRITE FAILURE ??Did you Format the Config space...?

Exit S&T, then...

Start EFILive Exlporer (EE), goto F9:Config Files, press Format Config.

When the format is finished, exit EE and go back into S&T, goto F5:Black Box Settings and try the Program button again.

I made Tech Support aware of this.

So you got build 94, and have flashed 2.6.34 into your V2...?

I think as Joe suggests you will be best to format the config and data filesystems. This is especially true if the firmware you have now updated from was quite old.

NO
i didn't con-fig the space
i have done that now and it it is loading the pid list of e38/t42
how many pids can i load will it take 100% program
or is it best to have as few as possible
i have been having trouble with BBL logging going bad after about 10min after starting to log with the old version trying to log on to the lap top is hopeless as the graph takes about 5min to go across the screen it was OK when Steve ostrack first set it up but went bad soon after
any ideas on what could be the problem i can shoot you a page shot if you like of what it looks like
thanks for your help so far its very much appreciated i can tell you

For each pidlist, the number of pids you can setup is indicated by the row of boxes at the bottom of the green pane (left/lower side of window)... when those turn red then you have too many pids (remove some).

Also, delete the pidlists that are for controllers other than your ECM and TCM, they will only take up space on your V2 and won't be ever used by you.

does the SD card in the v2 hold the ver program or only the log file i would like to try a different card as im have trouble with glitches with some logs can i just remove the card and replace it with a new one or must i reprogram the v2 with the new card
what would be a good card size to use
and should i have it set on SD card or automatic
thanks

The SD card holds the log files.

2GB is the maximum size.

Set the setting on SD Card.

Using EFILive Exporer (EE), goto the F3: Data Files tab, click on Format Data to format the SD card.

Using EFILive Exporer (EE), goto the F3: Data Files tab, click on Format Data to format the SD card.

That option gives a message saying to use the FlashScan device itself to perform the format. That is because the formatting can take so long (up to 5 minutes on larger cards).

To perform the SD Card reformat, you should insert the new card and select the following options: F4 Options -> F2 File System -> F3 Format File Sys.
