I have a 2006 Duramax LBZ that I am having major issues with. I have attempted a full flash to install a DSP5 tune. The V2 sends an error message at 7:07 on the countdown timer. This is also at 191k of flash. I now cannot start the truck. I cannot reflash the truck. I cannot download a tune from the truck. I have rebooted by disconnecting the batteries for 15min the reconnecting and reattempting with no success.

I was able to pull a DTC from the scan tool. It is:

B2911 “Wrong Environment Identifier Received From Device 7”

Any help is appreciated!

Can you read out the current tune?

Can you put the stock tune back in.

Do you have any after market things on the truck? Radio, GPS, performance monitor, if so pull the fuses. Doors closed, handbrake on to keep the lights off, fully charged battery.

I cannot read the current tune

I cannot install the stock tune

I have a remote start that I will remove and attempt again today.

Batteries are fully charged.

Doors are closed.

Lights are off.

We'll see if the removal of the remote start makes a difference.

are you sure it was a LBZ tune and not a LMM? that can kill a ECU for sure. are you located near Paducah?

Thanks Madmartin

Did you turn off the computer and reboot the computer, then reopen the tune you are trying to load. Also turn off the "use high speed" and click try alt keys.
