does efilive do general odbii scanning for non gm?

does efilive do general odbii code scanning for non gm vehicles. Also does scanning use up one of my VIN licenses or is that just when I tune?

No, for CAN stuff it should work but other than that the communication protocols are only setup for GM VPW comms.

Scanning, logging, reading, clearing codes doesnt use a license. Only flashing a modified tune back for the first time on that FlashScan uses a license.

what about non efilive supported gm vehicles like the chevy tracker? My neighbor has a CEL she want me to find out why.
