Loading DSP5 for first time

Working with a 2002 LB7 have had not problems loading single tunes onto the PCM but anytime i convert the stock OS to a DSP5 and run the late Lb7 script that it calls for at the end of programming the pcm goes dead and the wait to start, check engine light, etc.. flicker fast on the dash and truck has no start and efilive will not connect to it. I have been able to unhook the battery cables and get it reset a couple of times but this time so far its not working. Any help on the problem appreciated.

When it has loaded correctly the truck will run for a bit and then die.

After finally finding some threads on diesel place with exact problem it seems i need to go to a 6006 OS and then convert it to the DSP5 OS. Where can i get the other operating system?

There shouldn't be any issue with using that OS to the point where it kills the ECM.
15186006 is the latest GM OS for your truck.
So where is it at now? Is the truck running?

The issue was with using the 15166853 operating system and converting it to a dsp5 setup. Did it all with a 15186006 and everything as it should. Problem resolved.
