ls1 to t700 converter lockup

Hey all, Just want to know if it possible for the LS1 PCM to control converter lockup on the old vn-np commodore style T700. Also can the speed sensor just be connected up to the LS1 PCM. they are both 2 wire?

From memory there is no option in the LS1 PCM to control lockup on that trans. GM had changed over to the 4L60E by then so it was probably never given a thought.
