View Full Version : License for a 1998 PCM?

I thought no licensing was needed for the 1998 PCM.

Tried to load a tune in a 1998 and I got a message that I need a license to load the tune.

I have the most recent versions of the software for my V2.

Stream is free for 97-98 Ls1 PCM's. You still have to go thru the whole licensing process I think...

Just to qualify; it is only the 1997/1998 LS1 PCM (as used in the Camaro and Corvette) that is not subject to licensing. Any other 1997/1998 controller type that might be support will require a license allocation.

On rare occasions there has been a case of a FlashScan V2 being built without the S-LS1A Stream included in wich case we can resolve that by sending your Serial Number and Authenticate Code (as per here http://support.efilive.com/kb_article.php?ref=2143-YUOG-8049) to me at support@efilive.com, or better still log a case at http://support.efilive.com/

Got the key for the stream from Andrew. It's fixed now. Thanks.

how do you tell that if your cable has S-LS1A stream active
to me mine does not look it is
