Flashing with wrong ECM selceted

I have an E38 ECM and i tried to read the tune, However, i accidently selected the e67 ECM. I tried to read and after it failed i selected the correct ECM selection and read the whole tune. I drove home and didnt notice anything. Today on my way to the office, i noticed an unusual vibration related to the engine. it occured between 1500-2500rpm. Did i ruin my ECM?

No you are okay , must be something else going wrong .
EFILive will not let you flash to the wrong controller , each controller has a seed/key that is needed to access the PCM wrong seed , no go .
So you did not hurt anything . :grin:

That's a load off. Must just be a case of bad gas...I have noticed it is well above 46c so my maf must also be pullin timin like crazy
