View Full Version : COS 3 auto VE and boost (reduced engine power")

Im in the process of doing my auto ve with cos 3 and boost ve, while going into boost at a high kpa the truck goes into "reduced engine power" this happened after the first logging session.
It happens when it hits high boost about 7 lbs, i have raised the etc table by 40%
Im also on OLSD, any Ideas?
modsare 6.0 lq4 72lb injectors, t76mm turbo at 7lbs

I don't have my software here in front of me, it is easy, go to diagnosing section and increase ( by 50 %) the ETC, MAP values. I will check it for you later.

after searching the forum i found tout that some people have raised ETC by 200% I will try this later on today.

Just use the compare feature in the tune tool. It works like a charm.

C6101 is a common culprit. This is raised by 200% by some to prevent the P1514 limp mode. Personally I would raise this value 200%. Log the max values on a map mimicking this table, then add 10 or 15% to this value. That way if you do have a throttle stuck, or similar issue it will still trip limp mode.
For the data in the map you would log G/CYL & multiply by 1000 to get milligrams.
