Is the EFILive 7.3.0 Build 300 Tune the same as the new 7.3 that's now out?

Scan also the same? The Manuals the same as the above pre release?

So you recommend down loading the new 7.3?

The build numbers for the 7.3 Tune tool is 324 and the Scan tool is 309. You're going to have to download the full 60MB install I'm afraid :lol:

The build numbers tell the full story. No matter what 7.x.x version numnber you have, just look at the build numbers to see which version you have.
The version numbers are for marketing and packaging.

Each time the software is regenerated it gets a new build number. The build numbers may jump by 1 or by 50 just depends on how many attempts it took to get the next release compiled and tested.

A new (66Mb) version will be available, probably this weekend so if you are thinking of downloading it, maybe wait until Monday and get the latest one.

A few small changes were made so that the manual agrees with what's in the software.

Basically the two scan modes: Async 5x24 and Async 10x24 have been renamed to Stream-Slow and Stream-Fast respectively. The doco has been changed to show the new scan mode names.

Also a new option in the tuning tool: File->Export calibrations which creates an HTML document of all calibrations and their descriptions. Useful for making a paper printout of all calibrations.
The doco was changed to show that option in the File menu section.

So no major changes in the doco. Certainly not worth printing again.

Not released yet - sorry.
Some more testing is required for faults fixed early this week. I'd rather delay it a few days and get the problems sorted than to prematurely release it now.
The updated (and final) CD image should be available later this week (I hope Fri, but maybe Sat) - assuming no "show stopper" problems are found between now and then.
