I just installed my new lc1 with the guage and setup my software only to find that my pid and the guage have different readings. I was under the impression that the pid in the list was already setup for a lc1 and the guage is setup for the 2nd anolog output. I had this same problem with my AFX wb but the numbers were much closer then now. Any ideas on what is wrong? Is it a configuratiion or a hardware issue

Thanks,
..RJ..

Using the LM Programmer software, what V:AFR points is your LC-1 programmed for on each channel...?

Which channel drives what (gauge, FlashScan)...?

Do you have FlashScan V1 or V2...?

I havent checked which one on the lm software but I am using channel 2 for the gauge and channel 1 for the efi live v1

By default analog out 1 is for the gauge & analog out 2 is for Flashscan's PID.
page 6 of the lc-1 manual has a picture.

I think that it is wired correctly If you look at the manual for the db gauge it says to use signal 2 Any other ideas. What is the lc1 pid formula and how would I change it

Thanks,

:nixweiss:

That gauge and the PID have the same expression,
are both analog outs programmed the same?.

The LC-1 default settings (see LC-1 user manual):
- Analog 1 (yellow): setup to emulate NBO2 (1.1V=14.0, 0.1V=15.0) switching signal.
- Analog 2 (brown): setup for data logger (0.0V=7.35, 5.0V=22.39) linear signal.

So if you have FlashScan V1 connected to Analog 1, then using the LM Programmer software, setup Analog 1 to provide the linear signal (0.0V=7.35, 5.0V=22.39).

Then you can use the default LC-1 pids (AFR_LC1x, BEN_LC1x).

THanks for the info. I know that this is not an issue with efilive but I can not connect to the lc1 using the lm1 programmer. I am using a usb to serial adapter but can not get it to recognize the lc1 any useful info on that?

I have tried different comm ports but have no luck using any of them. I know that my driver is up to date for the adapter because I use it on a near daily basis. Do I have a bad lm1 or is this a configuration issue

Is the LC-1 powered up when trying to connect?
Which USB converter are you using?

it is powered up and I am unsure who makes the converter but I used the disc and driver that came with it. I have even tried two deifferent laptops
